Make the Most of the Summer – Keep Your Body Moving Comfortably

As we reach the end of July Plymouth is still enjoying some beautiful summer weather. It's the perfect time to get outdoors, whether you're walking along the Hoe, gardening, enjoying the beach, or spending time with family and friends.
However, warmer weather often means we're more active than usual. After months of cooler temperatures, it's easy to overdo it, leading to back pain, stiff necks, sore shoulders or aching hips and knees.
At Back To Normal Chiropractic Clinic in Plymouth, I regularly help people experiencing discomfort caused by everyday activities such as:
Gardening and lifting.
Long walks and coastal hikes.
DIY projects.
Long journeys or sitting in traffic.
Sports and recreational activities.
McTimoney Chiropractic is a gentle, precise technique that aims to improve joint movement, reduce muscle tension and help your body function as comfortably as possible.
During the warmer weather, remember to drink plenty of water, take regular breaks if you're working outside, and listen to your body if you begin to feel stiff or uncomfortable. Addressing minor aches early can often help prevent them becoming more persistent.
If you're finding that aches and pains are stopping you from enjoying the summer, now is a good time to seek advice and treatment.
Wishing everyone a happy, healthy and active end to July. Enjoy the sunshine while it lasts!
